El Monstero is something more than a concert, it’s an entire live experience. This makes the 4th time I have covered this production, which can be described as the ultimate Pink Floyd tribute. The show has so much more than music to offer the audience. Stage set ups that change from year to year, trapeze artist type performances by beautiful women hanging from rings from the ceiling, awesome pyrotechnics, lighting so awesome that it could be described as a lazer light show, poll dancing, and a band of musicians that can cover Pink Floyd just as well as Roger Waters himself. I walked in thinking it would kind of be the same stick as last time but it never fails, El Monstero always does something a little different. Something from a photography standpoint that keeps me on my toes the entire set. I had a blast and I am honored to close out my 2015 Concert Season with this show, rounding the year out at 81 shows! “El Mon” has 4 more nights on their tour this year, one on the 23rd and then again a show each night from the 25th to the 27th. For more info check out http://www.thepageant.com/calendar.aspx. If you have never experienced this show, just drink the “Kool-Aid” and check it out. If you have seen it before, speaking as a repeat El Monstero offender, I can honestly say it’s worth seeing them every year they put on a show.
Thanks for the support and here’s to another awesome concert season in 2016!
