Mud Tracks @ The Pageant – January 22nd, 2016

I went into this production not knowing what to expect, and I ended up walking away with some of my most unique live performance images to date.  I have photographed a handful of burlesque shows but I have never had the opportunity to photograph an artistic dance performance.  This also marked the first performance by a professional dance company to take the stage at The Pageant, which was pretty awesome to be there to capture.  If you are a fan of choreographed dance pieces set to both classical and modern day musical numbers, then this is the perfect event for you.  I had so much fun photographing this show, and it offered some new challenges that you don’t often encounter when photographing concerts.  If you want to learn more about Mud Tracks, check out The Bug Muddy Dance Co.  Also enjoy the pics, I had fun taking them!
