Nahko & Medicine for the People was another prime example of walking into a show that I completely had no idea about. I soon found out that Nahko has truly crafted a sound that is unique and kind of fits in about three different genres. I would classify this act as “hope rock”, not religious music at all but very similar to modern Christian rock sound, with a heavy rock/pop Southwestern sound that has one of the most uplifting undertones I’ve heard in a long time. All his music was upbeat and very rhythmic, for those that like uplifting or inspirational rock music I strongly suggest you check this guys style out!
